Alyssa + Michael Mijares

Alyssa and Michael’s farmhouse wedding was the epitome of a dreamy North Carolina wedding.

At the Pinehurst Fair Barn, with its high ceilings and lush rolling green fields outside, this venue was a gorgeous backdrop for these two lovebirds - Special Service agents and all!

Alyssa DIY’d a few projects for her big day, including creating the flower arch for the ceremony centerpiece and creating the photo wall for the reception. The flowers were rented and the cake and cookies were made by Michael’s sister - what a talented family!!

Not to mention, these two were in the middle of moving to Maryland as they were planning this wedding. Michael was in training for 2-weeks in Atlanta prior to the wedding day, had his bachelor party THE NIGHT BEFORE THE WEDDING, and left the morning after the wedding to go back to training before moving from NC to MD two weeks later. Talk about a whirlwind. The fellas did well though, all in bed before 11 PM and no one was late to the wedding day.
